Commitment to security

If Coffey handles ePHI in the course of business associate activities for a covered client, then it is the policy of Coffey to protect ePHI in accordance with applicable federal and state law; Coffey's organizational security policy; and other relevant Coffey policies, procedures and practices. Coffey shall implement administrative, physical and technical safeguards, policies, procedures, and process to: (a) protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of ePHI that Coffey creates, receives, maintains or transmits; (b) protect against reasonably anticipated threats or hazards to the security or integrity of ePHI; (c) protect against reasonably anticipated impermissible uses or disclosures; and (d) require compliance by its workforce with respect to ePHI.

Coffey's goal is to create and maintain a culture of compliance with respect to protecting the security of ePHI.
